Response To Week 8 Question
The main thing I have found through my research is why people receive tattoos. A lot of my research shows the effect of tattoos on cultures. I guess this is the theme right now, but hopefully I will come up with something interesting when I sit down and think about it more. I don't think my place in this culture is much different than what is was 8 weeks ago.

That’s very interesting that you found out why people like tattoos and also their effects on culture. In your words why do you think people get tattoos, do you think it’s a style like getting earrings or does is get more in-depth? Also what do you think about cultures view on tattoos? Are they acceptable, or not for certain generations? This is a very interesting topic you have touched on in my eyes because I just went out two weekends ago and got a tattoo on my left shoulder. The reason I got it was because it was something me friends and I decided to do as a group, and it is a small group of about 4 people including myself.
To find out why people receive tattoos is a great theme for now or the rest of your time with this culture! Some of the tattoos I see are so ridiculous and I cant help but be curious on why somebody would want certain things on their body. I have considered a tattoo but I already know what it would be and it has a real and emotional meaning behind it for me. I promised myself that I would sit on it for at least two years before I got it so that I would KNOW it's what I wanted. Overall, I think that's a really cool idea.
